U-03 · Shopfront Stack WordPress brief
WordPress as a brochure, not a second job.
If you already decided you want WordPress for a plumber, photographer, or consultant site, we recommend Elementor’s hosted path — the builder plus hosting in one vendor — as the default. Then we say when a Squarespace or Wix site is calmer, and when cheap WordPress hosting (see our sister Web Host) is the better buy.

The default, in one pass
Decide you actually want WordPress
WordPress is portable and powerful. It is also updates, plugins, and backups. If you need a page this Saturday and nobody will maintain WordPress, use a hosted builder instead. This lander is for the shop that named WordPress on purpose.
Default: Elementor Hosting (builder + hosting)
One vendor for the visual editor and the place the site lives. WordPress is installed for you. You are not assembling PHP versions on a cheap shared box as your first move. Confirm on Elementor’s current hosting page what each plan includes — bundles change.
One useful page, not a theme zoo
Who, where, what, tap-to-call. Service area, a real photo, hours, license if it matters. Photographers: a handful of galleries, not a second Instagram. Consultants: positioning and a contact path. Then stop.
Own the domain somewhere you control
A hosted WordPress login is not a registrar. Keep the .com at a registrar account you can still open in three years. Point DNS. Confirm the padlock. Skip novelty seals.

A first WordPress brochure for a plumber, photographer, or consultant
What the first site has to do, why Elementor Hosting is the default on this lander, and how to stop before the plugin zoo starts.
Guide 02 · Two WordPress doors
Elementor Hosting versus installing Elementor on cheap WordPress hosting
Same editor, different jobs. When one vendor for builder and host is worth it, and when Hostinger-style shared WordPress is the better money.
Guide 03 · The page
What to put on the first page: plumber, photographer, consultant
Copy and layout that book a call. How to use Elementor without turning a brochure into a motion-graphics demo.
Guide 04 · The off-ramp
When WordPress is the wrong first move (and what to do instead)
Honest off-ramps: hosted builders, cheap shared hosting, and waiting. Elementor is the default here only after you have a reason to want WordPress.
Comparison
Elementor vs a website builder vs Hostinger WordPress
Three honest ways to get a brochure online. This lander recommends Elementor Hosting when you already want WordPress with a visual editor. A hosted builder is calmer. Cheap WordPress hosting is cheaper if you will maintain it.
Who this is for
- A US local service business that has decided it wants WordPress, not a Facebook URL, for a first brochure.
- An owner who will either learn the Elementor editor or pay someone who already knows it — and who will allow updates.
- A photographer or consultant who wants layout control beyond a rigid template, and who accepts more moving parts than Wix.
Who this is not for
- If you need a page this Saturday and you do not want WordPress, do not start here. Use a hosted builder (see Start A Site).
- If you want the cheapest possible WordPress install and you are willing to manage plugins on shared hosting, see sister Web Host (Hostinger default).
- If you already have a developer on retainer with a stack they maintain, this site is not for that shop.
What we will not do
- Pretend this is Elementor’s official help center or clone their brand system.
- Invent star scores, page-speed trophies we did not measure, or fake coupons.
- Quote a teaser hosting price we cannot date and source. Verify current plans on Elementor.
- Push a domain registrar or a VPS as the default call to action on this URL.
